In the Spring of 2022, I began collaborating with our Creative Director and Social Media Manager on a project to refresh Amplify’s social media strategy and visual identity.
While the content on our social accounts prior to April of this year was great, we wanted to address and improve upon a few key issues:

Posts were not always visually cohesive

Our account was experiencing very low engagement

The posts as a whole did not successfully answer the question “What is Amplify all about?” quickly enough
-
The content was not clear or immediately engaging for people stumbling upon our account for the first time


As a result of a series of alignment meetings, brainstorming sessions, and reiterations of design layouts for different types of posts, our content now:

Aligns with Amplify branding, both visually and tonally
-
Is easier for prospects to identify who Amplify is and what Amplify is about
-
Is more consistent and cohesive — content stands out on feed both as a single post and together
-
Is more engaging (likes, comments, shares, saves)


When I first started designing Instagram content for Amplify in April 2022, we had about 4,000 followers.
As of February 2024, we have 20.6K!
